Bird watching in the mangrove/islands

Mangroves are ecosystems species of woody forests that develop in lagoons, riverbanks and on tropical coasts protected from the waves. They represent a link between the mainland and the sea.

The typical trees of these ecosystems are mangroves, which are capable of growing in salt water, on a muddy soil where other plants could not live.

Panama is recognized as one of the countries with a large number of different birds, this time we invite you to enjoy a bird watching in our mangroves

In addition, they are very popular places for birds such as brown pelicans, neotropical cormorants (crows), white ibis, pink spoonbills, mangrove hawk, yellow warbler, and wood-billed nuthatch.
