This Village is the jumping off point for a chain of 25 protected islands. This park encompasses many unique ecosystems including mangroves and coral reefs. These islands offer pristine white sand beaches lined with palm trees, in stark contrast to the other dark sand and rocky beaches of the Pacific coast.

How to get to Boca Chica

The easiest way to get to Boca Chica is by car and it is about 60 KM from the city of David, but it is also possible to get there by bus. Taking a local bus would probably cost around $ 5-10 USD in total from Davíd city. Find the bus that goes to Hornocitos. Here you will have to get off and transfer to another bus heading to Boca Chica or take a taxi to Boca Chica (about $ 10-15 USD). Both the bus and taxi will drop you off at the Boca Chica Marina, which is the meeting point for most tours.
